Founded in 2004, Fondazione Sistema Toscana (FST) is a non-profit organization that promotes the Tuscan region through innovative digital tools. Since 2010, it has also been active in the fields of cinema, audiovisual production, and education, working to integrate culture and tourism across the region.

FST served as Lead Partner of the Prato Phygital project (2022–2023), which brought together the audiovisual and Made in Italy manufacturing sectors through the development of immersive and cutting-edge digital content, including 5G technologies, mixed reality, and gaming. The project also focused on the digitization and enhancement of textile materials from museums and corporate archives.

Within the EPIC project, FST supports the development and management of immersive technologies aimed at interpreting and promoting Prato’s industrial heritage.
