Cristoforo is a cooperative founded in 2002 with a strong social mission focused on inclusion and employment opportunities for people in vulnerable situations. Today it employs over 2,200 people, including more than 1,100 cooperative members, and actively supports local communities through training programs and work placements.

In the tourism sector, Cristoforo operates through The Plus Planet, a specialized travel agency and tour operator active across Italy, providing innovative and accessible tourism services. Its activities include the management of tourist information offices, museum services, event logistics, and the design and management of tourist destinations (DMO/DMC), particularly in Tuscany.

A flagship initiative is Italy Accessible, a project dedicated to accessible tourism that has been delivering inclusive, high-quality travel experiences for people with motor, sensory, or cognitive disabilities since 2015.

Within the EPIC project, Cristoforo contributes its expertise in the co-design and promotion of industrial tourism itineraries, supporting the development of an authentic, inclusive, and accessible tourism offer and coordinating the promotion of new routes in close collaboration with project partners.
