Deliverable 5.1.1 defines the strategic and methodological framework for the design of new industrial tourism products in the city of Prato, within the EPIC project.

The document analyzes the national and international tourism context, the profile of the industrial tourist, and key European best practices, relating them to the historical, productive, and social specificities of the Prato area. Through resource mapping, trend analysis, and the involvement of local stakeholders, the framework lays the foundations for the co-creation of innovative, sustainable, inclusive, and digital tourism experiences.

The objective is to position Prato as a European model for contemporary, participatory industrial tourism.
